Straight answers tofrequent questions.
Everything you need to know about arranging care with Siso Healthcare. If your question isn’t here, we’re always happy to talk.
Getting started
Who do you support?
We support adults aged 18 and over and older people, including those with dementia, mental health needs, learning disabilities, and long-term conditions.
How do I start?
Contact us by phone on 01883 771409 or by email at info@sisohealthcare.co.uk. We arrange a free, no-obligation assessment, usually at home, to understand needs and preferences.
Can care be arranged at short notice?
Yes, with as little as 12–24 hours’ notice. Our emergency care service exists for sudden changes. Call us and we will tell you honestly what we can do.
Do you offer care to people who fund it themselves?
Yes. We support both privately funded and publicly funded clients.
Your care
Will I have the same carers?
We aim for a small, consistent team so you get to know each other. You can tell us if you would like a different match.
Can the care plan change?
Yes. We review plans regularly and any time needs change, with you and your family.
How much does care cost?
Cost depends on the type and amount of support. We give a clear written quote before care begins. Funding may be available through your local authority or the NHS.
Our team and standards
How are carers recruited and trained?
All carers have enhanced DBS checks and references, complete an induction, and are trained in areas such as dementia, medication, and safeguarding.
How do I raise a concern or compliment?
Tell any member of our team or email us. We take every concern seriously, respond promptly, and learn from feedback.
Ready to talk about care at home?
We’ll listen, answer your questions and arrange a free, no-obligation assessment at a time that suits you.
